Introduction to Handblock Printing

Get the team together, the creative juices flowing, and enjoy an engaging 2-hour workshop for you and your workplace! We’ve put together a workshop which allows its participants to learn about and experience first hand the tradition of handblock printing.

An ancient art used to embellish clothing and homeware with expertly carved wooden blocks and paint. The dyes and paints are applied using traditional wooden blocks that have been hand carved with varying designs and patterns. This has always been a hands-on activity meaning a unique quality will accompany any item produced.

All necessary materials are provided, all that’s required is the imagination of your team, and some patience and before you know it you’ll have a team playing with colour, design, and materials. Each individual will take home their masterful creations.
